Catmosphere

The Cat Powered Lightning Tracker

Catmosphere is a playful live UK lightning and thunderstorm tracker — with cats. It even has its own theme tune. Switch on your speakers (or even better, use your headphones). Place the cat on the live lightning map, set a Storm Watch Zone and Meow Zone, then listen as your feline friends react to lightning activity around them. Catmosphere uses lightning data from EUMETSAT, the European weather satellite organisation, to follow lightning activity across the UK. When lightning approaches your cat, Xweather supplies more accurate flash-positioning data, helping Catmosphere track nearby strikes and trigger increasingly concerned feline reactions.

The interactive UK lightning tracker and live thunderstorm map covering England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Follow live lightning activity across the UK, move your cat to different locations and create your own Storm Watch and Meow zones. As thunderstorms and lightning strikes get closer, Catmosphere turns live weather data into cats doing what cats do best - drama.

Catmosphere is for purr...sonal fun and enjoyment only. It is not an official weather alert service and must not be used to protect life or property. Meow.
